There is nothing magical about this, all the work was done with a 12" & 6" hacksaws and a couple of sharp files, a bench vice and a lot of care !

Looking straight down the throat of the carb with the plate in place
Looking down on the plate notice how close it is to the slide and follows it's contour
Looking up at the plate notice it follows the bell mouth contour
